Using photo mask, the product pattern is copied on the metal material by the exposing machine. Then, etching it by liquid medicine. The distortion and burr will not be made by such chemical process, and the material could be kept flat. After the final washing process, the products will be very clean.
Half Etching
By exposing different patterns to the front and back side of the material, it is possible to etching single side of the metal material. The etching depth is about 2/3 of the material thickness.
Taper Etching
By etching different sizes from the front and back side of the material, a tapper hole could be made. The tapper shape could be adjusted.
No Burr and Distortion
Unlike machining or pressing, since etching is corroding the metal material by the chemical liquid, the burr or distortion will not be occurred during the process.

Filters, screens and sieves play a crucial role within numerous engineering applications by separating solids from liquids or particles of different sizes. Stamping is the most widely used manufacturing process for perforating metal sheets due to its cost efficiency in large-scale production runs. However, it does have limitations, such as its limited flexibility, restricted customisation options for complex design, expensive tooling, constrained material choice and the potential for burrs and stresses.
A process to manufacture metal components in thicknesses between 0.005mm to 2.5mm, in virtually all metals the capability of producing complex profiles using photographic digital tooling created from customer CAD files.
Chemical etching is a fast efficient, cost-effective method for the manufacture of small precision metal parts, the ideal manufacturing process for both development prototype and production quantities. Parts produced by chemical etching are burr and stress-free, with the complexity of shape unlimited, plus the complete flexibility to change the design at any time.
